Spring Story Time

we enjoyed a story, planting flowers and a snack

The Spring Story time was held on Wednesday April 19th at 3:00 with 13 children attending. We started the afternoon with a story "Too Many Carrots" which told the story about a rabbit the stored up too many carrots and didn't have enough room in his hole to live so he had to ask many of his friends if he could move in with them and eventually ended up destroying their houses to and in the end decided that in the end there was only one thing to do and that was to share with his friends because carrots weren't for collecting they were for sharing. After the story we gathered the children around the tables and they were given a clay flower pot that they got to decorate and then they were able to plant a flower and take it home with them. We ended the afternoon with an Easter Cookie. We had an enjoyable afternoon. thanks Kids!!!!!
